Statement I use
the technique of press moulding to create natural forms such
as birds and animals. I am inspired by the functional and
decorative elements of Chelsea tureens and serving-dishes.
Press moulding appeals to me in its capacity for reproducing
sometimes very detailed forms. This also gives much scope for
individuality in the surface texture and colour of each
piece.
