Sara Ingleby-MacKenzie |

Sara Ingleby-MacKenzie spent her
childhood and formative years in Kenya, Italy and
Ireland where she developed her love of art. She gained
a first class honours degree in sculpture and
print-making at Bath Academy of Art, where she was
awarded the Gane Travelling Scholarship in 1908 and the
Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship in 1982.
After
taking time off to start a family, she returned to her
sculpture in 1995. She remains devoted to her figurative
work, particularly the capture of figures in movement.
Recent work has included commission for the
Nordic Swimming Federation, the Airline and Hotel of the
Year Awards and a variety of private
commissions.
