Born and educated in Worcester. Studied at the Birmingham College of Art, 1945-50 under Fleetwood Walker* and Katherine Fryer. She later studied and taught briefly at Bath Academy of Art (Corsham), 1950-51 under William Scott and Peter Potworowski. She later taught in Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. Her exhibition include group shows at NEAC, RWA, RBSA and WIAC of which she was an elected member. She has loaned pictures to Arts Council, who exhibited her work in various group shows including the Young Contemporaries and Pictures for Schools.
