Born in 1956, Peter underwent formal training at the Bath Academy before moving to a shared studio to experiment with with etching, lithography and serigraphy, as well as painting in acrylic and oil.
Peter sees himself as part of the symbolist tradition, to suggest thoughts and feeling by symbols. A key role in his work is played by women. They lounge, meditate, play in a seemingly private world, where the beauty of the female form becomes one of the great transending experiences of life.
