| PETER BRIDGENS lives and works in
a village to the north of Bath. He makes both thrown and handbuilt
ceramics which range from carefully turned stoneware mugs to distinctive
individual bowls and sculptural pieces. Some are raku fired with the
crazed glazes and matt black smoked areas characteristic of the process.
He studied at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, and currently teaches
part-time at the School of Art and Design, Queens Road. He is listed in
the Crafts Council Register of Makers and his work was selected for the
recent Triennial Sculpture Exhibition at the Royal West of England
Academy, Bristol. |
