| Born in York. Studied sculpture at Bath Academy of art. Based in West Wales near Carmarthen, supplementing figure and portrait commissions with prop sculpture for theatre and TV. Materials include marble, terracotta, plaster and lead...but mostly I work in marble. For me at least, no other material possesses its character and subtlety, and there truly is a sense of alchemy when the rough block begins to take on human form and identity. | |||||
