I'm 2 weeks into this now, working on the theme - "A Handbag!?"; I'm carving a stone (Margaret Thatcher's) handbag, which can't be opened, and surrounding it with all manner of handbaggery.

There's a 'Meet the Artists'  event next  Saturday 29th January, 6.30 - 8pm, and the final showing on Saturday 19th February; 2 other artists and me, but there is also in there an exhibition of paintings by Diana Matthews, who was at BAA in the 50s, and taught by all those eminent artists who'd gone by the time I went. And, until February 6th, in the cafe, there are prints by Jan Nesbitt, BAA 1963-7, exhibiting with local group of artists, MishMash.
